Comparisons: What Do You Actually Need, Anyway?
So, what’s the difference between my regular design offerings, my Budget Options, and my Special Packages?
I’ll start by explaining what the latter two are:
Budget Options
I have lots of design clients who are SERIOUSLY on a budget for their marketing. I mean SERIOUSLY. They might need a website, a logo, business cards, and advertising banners, but they can’t afford it yet. There are plenty of people who will say well if they can’t afford it, they aren’t really serious about it. To which I say: that’s a bunch of crap!
So what do you do when your budget doesn’t match what you need?
Usually, you try to do it yourself. Some of you can really rock the DIY website stuff, and some of you can fiddle something you’re actually kind of happy with for your business cards. But a lot of you have a special, specific skill set – which is what you’re trying to make money doing, which is why you need the design stuff in the FIRST place – and it isn’t web graphic design, or you wouldn’t be having this conversation (with my website) at all. Right?
Here is how I can help you!
I’ve been working on designs that can be edited to fit your information, but have been pre-designed so that I don’t need to charge you the design time for it.
It’s basically a template, but there’s a designer behind it. I take your information, and I drop it into my pre-made design. Voila, something that doesn’t look like a template, but doesn’t cost you nearly as much as a custom design.
Special Packages
Lots of my other clients have a marketing budget that matches what they need, but they don’t exactly know what they need. Also, they aren’t sure how some of these things fit together. If you get a website, do you also need a header? Is a logo included, or is it separate? What about business cards?
So I took some of the guesswork out of it for you!
I created several special packages that include things that normally go together, to make it easier for you to see what you need. There’s a business branding package, an ebook package, and a Twitter package, for starters.
A handy and awesome chart to help you decide what YOU really need:

Here’s the breakdown:
If you want a little of everything, or you don’t need a package deal, choose what a la carte services you want, and let me know. I’ll always suggest something better for you if I can see it would benefit you.
If you need a package that covers all the bases, choose a Special Package.
If you’re low on budget, choose a Budget Option – and if what’s there doesn’t cover everything you need, drop me a line and let me know. Maybe I can create one with you in mind!
